SUMMARY:2016 Annual Meeting and Hootenanny
DESCRIPTION:Come join us at the 2016 Tribes Hill Annual Meeting and Hootenanny!!! \nJoin us one and all\, rain or shine\, for Tribes Hill’s Annual Meeting and Hootenanny\, Saturday\, June 11\, 12:00 noon – ? at the historic Hammond House\, 111 Grasslands Road\, Valhalla\, NY with Open Mic from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.\nTo participate in the Open Mic we advise that you arrive and sign up before 3:00 pm. Musicians also have the opportunity to participate in the James Durst Tribute following the Business Meeting\, as well as an additional Open Mic dedicated to groups of two or more. We will conclude the evening with a campfire and acoustic song circle. This event is open to all Tribes Hill members and friends who want to enjoy this day with us. Children are welcome. \nThe Annual Meeting functions as a Tribes Hill fundraiser as well. Membership is free. Donations are appreciated. For those who cannot attend but would like to make a donation to Tribes Hill please see the Pay Pal link at the bottom of our homepage. We appreciate your continued support. \nPlease bring a dish to share. An ingredient list will be helpful for those with food allergies and sensitivities. Tribes Hill will provide beef burgers and hot dogs. Vegetarians are welcome to bring something to throw on the grill. BYOB (bring your own beverage). \nHere’s the schedule: Check-In at Welcome Table 12:00 pm / Open Mic – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm / Sign-up before 3:00 pm advised / Potluck Dinner 5:00 pm / Annual Business Meeting 6:00 pm / James Durst Tribute 6:30 pm / Group Open Mic (two or more) 7:30 pm / Campfire Song Circle 9:00 pm. \nTribes Hill will be honoring Joe Pszonek from WMSC (Upper Montclair) with a honorary lifetime membership for his amazing support of local and regional musicians.  \nVolunteers are needed  Friday evening 6:00 pm for set-up\, Saturday 10:30 am for set-up\, throughout the day on Saturday at the welcome table\, Saturday 4:30 – 6:30 pm serving food and Sunday 1:00 pm for clean-up . (1 Hammond House Rd.)\, Valhalla NY 10595 \nFROM THE SOUTH: take the Sp rain to Eastview exit. Turn left onto Grasslands Rd.Drive about 0.8 mile to second traffic light. Turn left\, then left again into Trustco Bank parking lot. Walk back up Grasslands Road to Hammond House Road which is actually the driveway of the house and event. You may drop off at driveway before you park at Trustco. \nFROM THE NORTH: take the Sprain to Eastview exit. Turn right onto Grasslands Rd and follow directions above. (driveway to Hammond House is about 0.5 miles from Sprain exits; traffic light is just beyond.) \n
