* Ron Renninger
Ron Renninger , a veteran of the #EastCoast #acoustic #music scene found early success as a teenager in the 1960’s after landing a recording contract with his first band. After
moving to #NY’s Greenwich Village, Ron soon expanded his musical horizons by rubbing elbows and jamming with such greats as David Bromberg, Jorma Kaukonen, Doc
Watson, Buzz Feiten, Tim Hardin, Taj Mahal. Chuck Berry, Santana and Jimi Hendrix. Dividing his time between Northern CA, #Woodstock , Manhattan and Vermont, Ron would soon begin honing his distinctive #singing and #songwriting skills. Along the way he found success #composing music for primetime network TV shows as well as becoming a sought after studio #musician on NY’s highly competitive recording circuit.
Since then, Ron Renninger has shared the stage with Richie Havens, Lucinda Williams, Jesse Colin Young, John Hammond Jr., Lucy Kaplansky, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee and Christine Lavin. He’s performed in countless venues and festivals from Tampa to Tokyo to London; from Colorado’s #TellurideBluegrassFestival to NYC’s #BottomLineClub.
* Dorraine Scofield
The name Dorraine comes from a Johnny Cash song that he recorded in the late ’60’s. The artist Dorraine comes from the hamlet of #WestShokan, NY located in the #Catskills near #Woodstock. Born and raised there (also in the late ’60’s), she began playing #violin at age 8 and got her first regular band gig at age 15 with The Suttons, a #bluegrass band. Dorraine has been singing and playing upward of 50-100 shows per year ever since. Dorraine has shared the stage with artists such as Diamond Rio, John Sebastian, Cousin Brucie, Charlie Daniels, George Jones, Bill Stains, Little Texas, John Hall, Baillie and the Boys, Kathy Mattea, Waylon Jennings & Rockapella just to name a few.
Having sung leads and backups for many years, Scofield has a wide vocal range and adeptly belts out some edgier stuff along with crooning the softer stuff. She also plays 6 & 12 #stringguitars, #percussion and #viola.
* Dean Batstone
A veteran of the #Canadian Music scene, having performed full time across #Canada and The #US for over 30 years, Dean Batstone has been based in New York state since 2007. A charismatic #liveperformer who works solo or with a band, he has recorded 11 full length albums with some of the most iconic musicians in America .His most recent double release of 2 CD’s, ‘Unbroken’ and ‘Broken’, is witness to his prolific nature and measurable talent.
Always #writing and #performing, this prolific #songwriter is equally eager to share the stage with his band or perform solo. His charismatic, upbeat presence, both on and off stage, has earned him a loyal fan base, respect from other musicians and has made him a favorite for live television and radio features and interviews.
