DESCRIPTION:bigjoefitz.com Joe Fitz is a warm and engaging performer – a singer of uncommon sensitivity whose roots are deep in the Blues but whose music also combines elements of jazz\, swing\, funk\, and soul. Big Joe has shared the stage with Blues notables\, The Holmes Brothers\, Marcia Ball\, Mighty Sam McClain\, Eddie Kirkland\, Little Sammy Davis\, Madeleine Peyroux\, Tad Robinson\, Bruce Katz and Janiva Magness. His long running radio program THE BLUES BREAK broadcast over legendary independent radio station WDST in Woodstock New York has become a Sunday night institution for those in the know. \nBig Joe Fitz & the Lo-Fi’s will feature Big Joe Fitz/Vocals/Harmonica/Guitar\, Robert Bard/Bass\, Mark Dziuba/Guitar and Chris Bowman/Drums. \n
