“Carolyn Wonderland’s live shows are top notch, five-stars, off the meter! … as powerful as a Class 5 hurricane.” – Rockzillaworld Magazine
“Carolyn Wonderland is the real deal! She’s an amazing guitar player. She whistled a solo. She played the trumpet! And damn, can she sing.” – Los Angeles Times

The reigning queen of Austin blues, Carolyn Wonderland sparks fire on guitar and soulful fury in the force of her vocal grit. Since 2011’s Peace Meal, reveling in Wonderland’s rough
and raw Janis Joplin-esque howl and burn-down blues, she’s lent her impeccable riffs to a number of albums, including The Stooges’ James Williamson’s, Re-licked.
In Wonderland’s fifth studio album “Moon Goes Missing”, the qualities that have cemented her notoriety in the Texas blues and rock scene are on full display. Even with the success of her studio albums, Carolyn shines brightest in live performance, winning legions of fans with her take-no-prisoners approach to the stage.

Opener: Shelley King

Shelley King leads listeners through electric Southern blues and acoustic folk, revved-up Cajun country and rock and roll with a charismatic ease that evidences the resilience of a lifelong performer.
She has won Austin Music Awards for Song of the Year and Best Roots Rock Band. The Texas Legislature appointed her to represent the state as it’s Official Texas State Artist – Musician; an honor similar to poet laureate. She has released seven albums of original music to rave reviews and radio chart success and tours relentlessly, performing over 180 dates a year across the world. Her songs have been recorded by numerous national and international artists and appeared in feature films.
Shelley’s most recent CD “Building a Fire”, the second recorded with members of New Orleans favorite sons, The Subdudes, has affirmed King’s place as master of her own style of Americana blues.
“Building a Fire assembles an audio dictionary of roots music. King’s powerful, twanged alto takes care of the rest. The kickoff cut blends Louisiana zydeco with blues sensibility, the singer’s no-holds-barred vocal mastery front and center… filled with sinewy soul and King’s trademark brand of torrid gospel and blues, it’s her most confident work yet. One where the songs, band, and singer sound comfortable together, each filled with the kind of grace that’s scarce and delivers salvation.” – The Austin Chronicle
