Veteran jazz drummer Eliot Zigmund has enjoyed a wide and varied careeer in jazz spanning forty years of playing within the New York scene and internationally. Past and present associations with notable artists include Bill Evans, Vince Guaraldi, Jim Hall, Stan Getz, Eddie Henderson, Lee Konitz, and Fred Hersch, among others.
Eliot grew up in the fertile New York jazz scene of the 50’s and 60’s, playing professionally at the age of 15 with his brother, an aspiring jazz guitarist. He studied music at both the Mannes College of Music and at the City College of New York and devoted himself to pursuing his dream of becoming a jazz musician.
Eliot has been a sideman on numerous recordings and has released three albums under his own name including his current Steeplechase recording titled “Breeze”, featuring Gary Versace, Mike Lee and Phil Polumbi.

Saxophonist and composer Matt Garrison, a native New Yorker, has been on the NYC jazz scene since 1997. His path eventually led him to jazz and improvization. He cultivated the necessary tools to become a professional musician at The Purchase Conservatory of Music and has since shared the stage with jazz luminaries such as Adam Nussbaum, Andy Laverne, Todd Coolman, Ray Vega, Jon Cowherd, and Dennis Irwin.
Garrison’s debut album “Familiar Places” garnered critical acclaim and peaked at #13 on the CMJ Jazz Radio Chart. His sophomore record, “Blood Songs” (2012) received glowing reviews, as did his third and latest record “Patchwork” (2014).

Pianist, composer, arranger and jazz educator, Allen Farnham, has been a mainstay in the in the New York City jazz scene since the early 1980s. Known for his fiery swinging style, Mr. Farnham, as well as leading his own groups, has performed and recorded with such jazz luminaries as Joe Lovano, Frank Wess, Chris Potter, Mel Tormé and Ernestine Anderson. His association with the recording industry is also notable, having served as producer for dozens of recordings released by the West Coast label Concord Jazz.

Bassist David Kingsnorth has performed with the John Abercrombie/Rob Scheps Quartet, Eliot Zigmund, Joshua Breakstone, Oscar Brown Jr., Richard Wyands, Frank Jackson, the New Jersey Ballet, and the Summit Symphony. He is originally from California, where he studied with John Clayton and received degrees in math and music from the University of California, Berkeley.
