Rachel Z. is a jazz and rock pianist and keyboardist and is considered one of the most influential and versatile musical forces of her generation. She trail blazed a top-level sideman career on keyboards with musicians such as Wayne Shorter, Bobby Watson, Regina Carter and Al Di Meola while also recording 10 solo albums as a jazz musician. Rachel has been an important part of numerous groups including the fusion band ‘Steps Ahead’ and Peter Gabriel’s touring band.

David Gilmore is a highly regarded session jazz guitarist and composer who studied with Joe Lovano and Jim McNeely. He began working professionally with the ‘M-Base Collective and Ronald Shannon Jackson. David was a member of the jazz fusion band ‘Lost Tribe’ and Wayne Shorter’s band. He has appeared with Me’shell N’Degeocello, Monday Michiru and Tom Lang and appears on many recordings including those by Steve Coleman, Cassandra Wilson, Elton John, Don Byron as well as Sun Ra & His Intergalactic Arkestra.

Erik Lawrence is a gifted saxophonist and flutist. He is the son of legendary jazz saxophonist Arne Lawrence. Erik has performed and recorded with three time Grammy award winner Levon Helm, Bob Dylan, Mavis Staples, Buddy Miles, Chico Hamilton, Sonny Sharrock, Aretha Franklin, Spin Doctors, Glen Hansard, Elvis Costello, Allen Toussaint, Dr John, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Tibetan flute master Nawang Khechog, Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky and countless others.

Scott Petito the group’s bassist and composer has a long list of his live and recorded performance credits. Some of the musician’s he has worked with include; Jack DeJohnette, Simon Phillips, Bob Mintzer, The Band, Keith Richards, Allen Ginsberg, Bela Fleck, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Mike Mainieri, Don Byron, Michael Franks and many more. Scott is also the bass player for the legendary 60’s punk, political, beat poet band,The Fugs.

Roberto Rodriguez Percussionist, composer, and arranger Roberto Juan Rodriguez, whose unique blending of Latin and Jewish music has essentially created a whole new hybrid. After majoring in jazz and music at the University of Miami, Rodriguez moved to New York City, quickly establishing himself as a drummer of note, working with the likes of T-Bone Burnett, Phoebe Snow, Rubén Blades, Paul Simon, Julio Iglesias, the Miami Sound Machine, Joe Jackson, and many other recording artists. He also became the drummer for Marc Ribot’s acclaimed Los Cubanos Postizos band.
