Born and raised in Nagoya, Japan, Martha has been on the stage and making recordings since childhood. Her reputation as a pianist, accompanist, and composer has steadily grown with every performance. Soon after relocating to NYC, she started performing at Smalls, Dizzy’s, The Jazz Gallery and Blue Note. She had her own trio at Blues Alley in Washington DC during the National Cherry Blossom Festival, and performs worldwide. Martha has a breadth of knowledge in classical composition and jazz language, and has received numerous awards for composition, throughout the music world.

Twenty three year old Aaron Seeber, has had the incredible opportunity to share the stage with jazz notables, including those with whom he studied at SUNY Purchase. He leads his own Quintet at Smalls Jazz Club twice a month. Aaron has played venues and festivals in Washington DC and NYC, including Blues Alley, The Blue Note, Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, The Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival, Twins Jazz, The Kennedy Center, Atlas Theater, Carnegie Hall, The DC Jazz Festival and The Falcon, Marlboro NY.

Bassist, Doug Weiss has toured Europe, Asia, South America, and the United States with a wide variety of discerning musical luminaries; Toshiko Akiyoshi, Mose Allison, Marc Copland, Kenny Drew Jr, Al Foster, Billy Hart, Fred Hersch, Clifford Jordan, Lee Konitz and Joe Williams.
Weiss recorded the first of two critically acclaimed Blue Note records under the leadership of pianist Kevin Hays. His relationship with Kevin, both intuitive and visceral, continues to the present with 10 recordings and many appearances in the US and abroad.
His association with legendary drummer Al Foster, led to world tours, 1000 concerts and 2 recording to date.
Doug was tapped by drummer and producer Brian Blade to record Lizz Wrights’ critically acclaimed debut album “Salt” (Verve) and toured extensively in support of that project. He also toured Europe and played the Village Vanguard with Brian Blade and the Fellowship band.
He also performs with guitarist Peter Bernstein’s “Monk” project, whose CD “Monk” was released in 2008 on Xanadu.
