Get ready to turn on your love light! Oct. 9 marks the first ever “Jerry-Con” at Garcia’s, a day-into-night convention celebrating “Captain Trips” and the Grateful Dead. The event, which is presented by Jon Chattman’s thisisasides.com, will be highlighted by two performances by the Stella Blues Band and a cavalcade of entertainment where fans can feast on Dead-inspired eats and swag, take in a panel discussion or speaking engagement, chat up an author, or even enter a Jerry Garcia Look-a-Like Contest. The winner gets tickets to see a future Phil Lesh show! Show up, and you’ll see, there’s nothing left to do but smile smile smile. Cosplay welcome!
