SUMMARY:Jimmy LaFave
DESCRIPTION:Tickets $25 advance\, $30 door \n Back by popular request… Austin-based Texas native Jimmy LaFave is blessed with a distinctive\, vibrant voice that is the perfect vehicle for his soul-baring ballads\, burning anthems and driving\, straight-ahead rock ‘n’ roll. Jimmy’s self-penned material earned him the Songwriter of the Year award (along with 4 others) at the 1995 Kerrville Music Awards. When LaFave covers others’ songs\, such as those of Bob Dylan\, they fit like his own broken-in boots\, exhibiting his own character as much as that of their maker. \n
