Groove to the beat at the Kauneonga Block Party Sunday June 19th, rain or shine. Noon – 7:00 PM Route 55 & Horseshoe Lake Road, Kauneonga Lake.

Kauneonga Lake businesses are hosting a 1960s themed Block Party to bring together Bethel Businesses and Artists from Sullivan County. This all-day Kauneonga Block Party features live music, kids’ zones, artists and craft vendors, food tastings and a boat regatta.

Come dressed in 60’s attire or come as you are and celebrate the beginning of summer and father’s day. Listen to live music performed by local musicians. Taste a wide variety of foods from Bethel’s eclectic restaurants: Sorella’s, Barrio Kitchen, The Local Table & Tap and Benji & Jakes. Enjoy a craft beer in the Beer Garden or sit on the deck at the Fat Lady Café and sip a Luv Ya to Peace’s cocktail made with Catskill Distillery Peace Vodka. For dessert chill out with an ice cream cone at Sticky Fingers. Browse River House which features 14 local artists and River Made Studio. Stop by Knit One Needle Point Too, known for their wide range of yarn and needlepoint supplies. The Bethel Fire Department will open its station house for children’s tours of their fire truck and grill up their famous hamburgers and hot dogs. A “Decorate Your Boat regatta contest in 60s style” will depart from Payne’s Boats led by the Police boat. Spend time with your children at the petting zoo in Gazebo Park on Main Street or in the Kids zones with giant inflatables from Partymaster.

Area streets will be closed to motor vehicles making it easy to have fun while walking, roller skating, dancing, snapping flower power selfies or bicycling with your friends and neighbors. This full day of entertainment and activities for families and people of all ages offers something for everyone!
