Tribes Hill Presents: Kindred Folk Concert Series

ALL WHEEL DRIVE is a newly minted band in the Westchester New York area with years of musical experience under their belts. The band consists of Pete Tamburrini (vocals, electric and acoustic guitar, harmonica and occasional percussion duties), Iris Cohen (vocals, percussion and guitar), Allan “Country Al” Ross (guitar and clarinet) and Pleasant Bud (Bass, guitar and vocals).
A strong catalog of original and cover songs combined with a wide array of musical styles at their disposal, All Wheel Drive can be counted on to satisfy even the most discriminating listener. Their sets are tailored to fit each venue as they feel it’s important to “play the room”. AMY SOUCY
Amy Soucy is a Beacon, NY-based contemporary folk chanteuse who writes evocative songs exploring the kaleidoscope of human experience. Dubbed “enchanting” by singer-songwriter Sloan Wainwright, Soucy’s 2015 debut album, This River, takes listeners on a soulful journey through a lush landscape of life, love and earth. The CD was among the top folk albums of 2015 on both the Folk DJ Listserv and the Roots Music Report. KAREN HUDSON RIVER TRIO A mainstay of the NYC Americana scene since the early 00’s, singer-songwriter Karen Hudson has been compared to Rosanne Cash by The Village Voice and to early Linda Ronstadt by 3rd Coast Music Magazine in Austin, Texas. She has opened for Madeliene Peyroux, Walter Salas Humara and Pete Seeger. This is Americana for people who keep The Byrds and The Beatles next to Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline.
