AMG presents listeners with an inflection of multiple styles, traversing through areas of rock, blues, hip hop and reggae, with elements of psychedelic.

The band coined the term “HeaVy Mellow” in 2010 while recording their second album, “No Working Title” to put a name on the feeling being recorded.

The band is making a lasting impact in the Hudson Valley, playing a steady circuit of bars, clubs, and festivals in the area that regularly show the Gorillas love and respect for the area.

AMG has consistently headlined the biggest small festival in New York, MAZZSTOCK since 2008. Like AMG, Big Lee Mazzola’s mandatory annual all night jam session has grown and shown maturity each year (but thankfully not too much).
