The Derby Bar & Restaurant is a beautiful setting for playing and listening to live jazz. The PKJP would like to encourage musicians, vocalists, performers and everyone interested in Jazz to come down and join in or listen and have a good time. Our goal is to maintain a venue to listen, play, appreciate, and keep a live jazz culture and positive scene happening in Poughkeepsie now and into the future. Originally started in October 2012, they released their debut album in November 2014. Recently, the group celebrated their three year anniversary in October 2015 to a full house of jazz fans and musicians.
