The Dover High School Music Boosters will be hosting The Big Band Sound in a fund-raising concert this evening in the courtyard of Dover High School, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. We’ll be performing many of your favorite jazz standards from all the famous big bands. As a fitting conclusion to the evening, members of the school’s jazz ensemble will be joining us in a grand finale! Admission is $5 and proceeds of the evening will benefit the music education offerings at the school. The Music Boosters will be grilling up hamburgers and hot dogs and offering refreshments for sale. If it rains, we’ll play in the cafeteria inside the main entrance.
Directions: Dover High School is on the east side of Route 22, 3 miles north of Wingdale (County Route 21/Pleasant Ridge Road) and 10 miles north of Pawling (Route 55).
