(September 12, 2016) – The ARTBAR Gallery in Kingston hosts a very special Emerging Artist Classical Music Series which aims to introduce talented, emerging classical musicians from the Hudson Valley to local audiences while providing the artists with an opportunity to showcase their talents.

On Thursday, December 15 from 7:30-10:30 pm, Elysia Román will deliver an homage to one of the most prolific composers for harp, Carlos Salzedo (1885 – 1961). Román’s recital will feature several of Salzedo’s original compositions, as well as arrangements written by the likes of Debussy, Handel, and Haydn. Salzedo was truly one of history’s most talented, versatile, and virtuosic composers, arrangers, conductors and harpists.

The community is invited to come out to hear some wonderful music and have a drink.
