(May 31, 2016) – The Denville String Band is a marching and concert band from Denville, New Jersey who performs in the style of the Philadelphia Mummers. This is a very unique style of performing which includes marching in parades and live concert performances.
On Sunday, June 5, the group will be playing a concert at the Denville Street Fair. According to the band, this is always a popular event with tens of thousands of visitors. The concert will take place at the bandstand at approximately 2:20pm.

Saturday, July 2 – Montville Independence Day Parade at 1 pm near Gathering and Changebridge roads
Monday, July 4 – Maywood Independence Day Parade
Thursday, July 14 – Concert on the beach in Mountain Lakes at 7 PM. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and sit on the sand with the waves lapping at the shore.
If you attend any of these events, the group welcomes you stop by and say hello – ask for Andy Bulfer who will be playing the tenor banjo.

The Denville String Band has 20-25 members of all ages from ranging from high school students to retired men and women.
