Poet Gold assembles a fresh new line-up of spoken word and musical artists every fourth Wednesday, at The Falcon Underground.
The Falcon’s highly encouraged donation policy will, of course, support these living artists.

Emma Bilyou

Born and raised in Orange County, NY, singer/songwriter, Emma Bilyou’s, mature voice, poise, and love of music validate her songs from multiple genres. Emma’s influences include Little Mix, One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran and Usher. She has recently released singles “Nothing Left to Break” with a video, and ‘Party All Night” Addressing the hot topic of bullying, she released her first original song, “BULLY”. Emma performs at Hudson Valley and NYC venues.

Joshua “Terruhwrist” Cirilo
Terruhwrist leads a new generation of socially aware lyricists who have heavy ties to hiphop. His innovative and thought-provoking wordplay demands attention in any cipher. Terruhwrist is an artist who can ciph on any lyrical stomping ground.

Sasha Taliaferro
Sasha Taliaferro is a singer/ songwriter from Poughkeepsie NY, by way of the Bronx. The hard-working mother of a beautiful little girl, Sasha works with the developmentally disabled integrating them into the community. Music has always been her outlet for the joy, pain, and struggle of life. Coming from a musical family, the love of song is in her blood and she was singing before she could speak. Sasha writes and performs music with passion, always hoping to connect people and make a difference in the lives of others. She has performed all over the Hudson Valley and beyond and believes it is important to show others the power in belief and what can be achieved when you believe in yourself and your dream.

Gold’s poetry balances the written word with performance, delivering Spoken Word Poetry that is both transformative and entertaining. She is the New York State Dutchess County recipient of the “2014 Individual Artist Tier Grant” awarded by Arts Mid-Hudson funded by NYSCA. Gold has received numerous commissions for original poems – most recently by the world renowned Omega Institute for their 2014 ‘Women Serving Women Summit”.
