Shadetree Mechanics, Blues for Peace

“Blues for Peace” is a grass roots movement of musicians, music promoters and music venues, or anybody who wants to be involved to promote peace.

Shadetree Mechanics is part of the movement, and will be performing at 12 Grapes in support of The “Blues for Peace Project”, which is sanctioned by the United Nations.

This world-wide fundraiser will take place on May 27, 28, 29 and 30 in cities and towns around the globe. Blues for Peace has partnered with the USA for UNHCR, the U.N. Refugee Agency, and will be raising funds to assist refugees world-wide. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the U.N. in support of Human Rights around the world.

Shadetree Mechanics are 2015 NY and NJ Blues Hall of Fame inductees. The band features Michael “The Rev” Rochelle on lead vocals/guitar/washboard, “Elmo” John Lawson, Pat Gregor and Ray G.

$10 Cover, minimum, or higher donation will go towards supporting this worthy cause.
