Ireland’s Finest: Peter O’Toole, Mark Geary and Gráinne Hunt to perform at The Falcon October 4

(October 3, 2017) – Tomorrow night, The Falcon in Marlboro will host an intimate evening with some of Ireland’s finest musical artists, with Irish cult hero Mark Geary, Peter O’Toole of the genre-defying Irish ensemble, “The Hothouse Flowers”, and vocalist Gráinne Hunt.

Mark Geary
Dublin-native Mark Geary is a celebrated musician who began his career more than 20 years ago. In 1992, Mark bought a one-way ticket to New York City and spent several years honing his craft playing the local circuit in the East Village which included numerous appearances at the renowned Sin-é cafe with other upcoming artists including friend Jeff Buckley.

Gráinne Hunt
Known for lending her vocals to Mark Geary, Nicole Maguire and on occasion Glen Hansard, Grainne is regularly compared to Natalie Merchant, Dolores O’Riordan and Alison Moyet among others. Grainne is currently touring in support of her new release ‘Firing Pin’ and as a vocalist with Mark Geary.

Peter O’Toole of The Hothouse Flowers
Peter O’Toole’s synergy has been shaped by thirty years of playing worldwide as integral part of the seminal Irish rock-trad-soul band, Hothouse Flowers. The band has defied genre classification since the late 1980’s with chart-topping hits and a gift for traditional Irish music. O’Toole’s unique level of world-class musicianship spreads joy and beauty is remarkable to behold. The Hothouse Flowers’s brand-new album, “Let’s Do This Thing”, is a testament to their musical evolution, vibrancy, and mastery.
