(June 20, 2016) – Fresh from their Leaf Peepers concert in Columbia County, the Jacques Thibaud Trio will be performing a benefit concert with a completely different program for Pine Plains Memorial Hall with special guest, Eugenia Zukerman upstairs at the Stissing House in Pine Plains on Sunday, July 3rd at 3:00 pm.

The Jacques Thibaud Trio, consisting of Burkhard Maiss, Hannah Strijbos and Bogdan Jianu is an internationally acclaimed group who have played throughout Europe, North America and Japan. Calling their playing “spontaneous and commanding” the New York Times said “this could be the first string trio in some time to have a major career.”

The Times has also said of the amazing Ms. Zukerman, “Her musicianship is consummate, her taste immaculate, and her stage presence a sheer pleasure!”

The program will include:
– Haydn String trio Op 53Nr 2 in B-flat Major
– Mozart flute quartet in C
– Beethoven quartet op 9 no 1
