(September 3, 2016) – It’s been a long road, but finally all the work is paying off for The Jason Gisser Band. Late last month, Mervilton Records officially signed the band to their first professional recording contract. Based in North Carolina, Mervilton Records is a young indie record label that signs artists from Alternative Rock, Hip Hop/Rap, Rock/Pop, R & B/Soul, Rock/Pop Instrumental and Reggae genres.

Needless to say, this is a very exciting time for the band, and the label is happy to have them. According to Mervilton Records CEO Tony Cunha, “As soon as I heard the first song from The Jason Gisser Band, I knew I had to sign them. They are going places and I want them on board!” Their album “In The Garden Of Crows” will be released sometime in September. The bands first single, ‘Spanish Suicide’ will have radio release in October.

The Jason Gisser Band formed in the late summer of 2014. After recording their first album “Garden of Crows” The Jason Gisser Band went on to play shows at The Chance Theater, The Paramount, Mexicali Live, Daryl’s House and many more.

The band has opened for bands such as Hoobastank, Lukas Nelson and The Promise of the Real and Three Dog Night. With quite a few sold out shows at large venues under their belt, they collaborated with Three Angels Management.

The Jason Gisser band consists of Andrew Fennell (Bass) Tom “The Suit” Forst (Lead Guitar), Jeff Haynes (Percussion), Chris Burke (keys), Big Thurrsty (Pedro Johnson)(Drums), Jason Gisser (Vocals & Acoustic Guitar).
