John Scully was born March 8, 2016 – the first born for Hudson Valley residents Amanda and Brian Scully. On March 20th, baby John was rushed to the Maria Fereri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla struggling to breathe. He was diagnosed with a severe infection that had spread to his brain. At just 12 days old, he had to undergo two separate brain surgeries. Thankfully, John’s infection has since cleared up, and he is on the road to recovery. Thanks to the experienced staff at Blythedale Hospital John is expected to head home soon.
On Sunday, May 15th from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, the Back Nine in Cortlandt Manor will be hosting a fundraising event to help the Scully’s offset some of the exorbitant medical expenses that have been incurred as a result of this illness.
The event will feature live music (see below), a 50/50 raffle, raffle giveaways, cash bar and buffet. Donations are $20 at the door, and 100% of all proceeds will go directly to the Scullys to offset some of the medical expenses.
