THE LONGEST DAY COMMUNITY BBQ – AN ALZHEIMER’S BENEFIT JUNE 18

(June 14, 2016) – On Saturday, June 18, Sharon Health Care Center will be hosting a BBQ from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm for the community, SHCC staff, and the families of SHCC residents. The community is invited to show support for the many caregivers, residents and community members who are faced with this terrible disease. All proceeds made at the event will go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Held annually in June, which is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, the event represents a day of hope, love and resilience – a day to rally together and show the world that Alzheimer’s can’t break spirits. The event symbolizes the challenging journey of those living with the disease and their caregivers.

“Scarecrow” will be entertaining at this GREAT Alzheimer’s Benefit along with “The Blues Drivers” who will be kicking off the festivities.
