Palaia Winery is pleased to announce that they have won both Gold and Bronze medals from the Finger Lakes International Wine and Food Festival.
The winery’s best selling wine “Pearl Power” received the gold, and the “Zappa Franc” won a Bronze. It is important to note that the wines competed against thousands of other entries. Pearl Power is a semi-dry blend of white grapes that is similar to a Sauvignon Blanc or a Dry Chardonnay. Zappa Franc is made from 2 different years of Cabernet Franc grapes that are estate grown and is smooth with a dry finish. Smokey and a bit Peppery, it is a winner here at the winery also.
Palaia Winery is located 5 miles north of the Woodbury Common Outlets on Rt. 32 in Highland Mills, or 4 miles from the light on 32 in Cornwall. It is open weekends until Memorial Day when it is open daily.
