May 14, 2016 – Upstate Films presents ‘Marc Black – Life, One Song at a Time” on May 15, 2016 at 8:00 pm.

Six years old, living in Jacksonville Florida, Marc heard Elvis on the Studebaker car radio. He turned to his Mom and said…’What is that’? (Not who is that, but what is that!). From that moment, the poetry and the energy of rock ’n roll has remained his obsession and his mirror.

The tunes Marc has chosen for ‘Life… One Song at a Time’ embody the essence of his journey. The ones he’s used to make sense out of where he’s been and in some cases… where he’s going.

This special Woodstock evening will feature Marc, his guitar, Claudette (which he bought new in 1968), and a slide show by his wife, Susan, featuring images from the journey.
