Back by popular request… Austin-based Texas native Jimmy LaFave is blessed with a distinctive, vibrant voice that is the perfect vehicle for his soul-baring ballads, burning anthems and driving, straight-ahead rock ‘n’ roll. Jimmy’s self-penned material earned him the Songwriter of the Year award (along with 4 others) at the 1995 Kerrville Music Awards. When LaFave covers others’ songs, such as those of Bob Dylan, they fit like his own broken-in boots, exhibiting his own character as much as that of their maker.
