EL YEAH! is a 4-person rock band from Woodstock, NY. The band believes in pure, unadulterated Rock and Roll, and takes their influence from classic rock and early 90’s grunge.

Producer / Engineer and serial songwriter Jules Taylor (ASCAP, ProJules.com) decided to form a new project in the summer of 2014. He recruited Drew North on Bass (Underdog / Sony Music), and veteran bandleader Byron Frayne on drums (NIN tribute band ‘SIN’ and NYC act ‘Suckerpunch’). Once the trio had established a sound, Billy Rogan (Guitarist, Songwriter, Composer,BillyRogan.com) was brought in and further helped to shape and define the sound of EL YEAH!

The ‘Welcome to August’ EP was recorded in November of 2014 at Flymax Recording by Pete Caigan. Currently slated to record their debut album in May 2015, EL YEAH! is now booking shows in the Hudson Valley and NYC.

Jules Taylor spent most of his 20’s on the ‘other side of the glass’, producing and engineering for both major label and independent artists in the Nashville area. As a seasoned engineer, he’s taken great lengths to transfer effects from the studio to the live stage. While EL YEAH! is an act that stays true to its influences, the band’s songs and performances appeal to all generations. Their Rock and Roll sound comes from a signature overdriven guitar tone, melodic bass lines and powerful lyrical content.
