Joe Duraes & The Skills are from Peekskill, and have been been performing in the Hudson Valley honoring their hometown. The band was very excited to make their debut at The Paramount Theater in Peekskill on Friday, November 20, 2015.

“The Skills” have recorded and toured with Davy Jones (The Monkees), Chubby Checker, Tina Turner, Iggy Pop, among many other artists.

Duraes feels very lucky to have such professional players in his band, which have been playing together for approximately two years.
